A Night of Celebration: Celebrating Survivors

Haven of Hope announces its first  “Night to Remember” fundraiser.  A night to remember will be held at

Albany State University in the ACAD Auditorium on Saturday February 4^th, 2012.  Haven of Hope invites Business Owners, Community Leaders and Community Members alike to embrace those individuals in our community who have suffered domestic violence, sexual assault and/or child abuse.   Together we will celebrate the survivors while making a way for the victims.

The purpose of this event is to raise money to assist our clients needing jobs and supportive services to provide for their families.  Your generous contributions will provide the means to advance opportunities in education, housing and emergency assistance for all victims including, safe-house maintenance, child abuse victim services and help for homeless individuals.

A Night of Celebration will include words from guest speaker Pauline W. Mansfield, Author of The Turtle Story and The Chess Master, as well as spoken word performances by Atlanta’s dynamic poet Mr. David Ali and Albany’s own Shewrightz.  Additional performances by Teens Speaking Out and more:
