Trendsetters Stand Out Among Georgia’s Cities
Six Georgia cities are featured in the February issue of Georgia Trend, the state’s largest business and political magazine, as the newest Trendsetters in municipal government.
Albany, Athens, Duluth, Greensboro, Stone Mountain and Suwanee were named by GMA and Georgia Trend as the 2012 “Trendsetter Award” winners for 2012 at the Mayors’ Day Conference, Jan. 22., in Atlanta.
The cities were chosen from among 41 nominations that covered the gamut of city services.
Albany
Albany was recognized for its 311 Call Center, which has improved customer service for city residents and businesses interacting with the city, and also changed the way city employees operate within city hall.
